However, there was a believe, and till today this believe still exist amoung people, they belived divinities are presence everywhere, to the extend to furnitures and even ornaments. Hence, making adjustment or shifting of objects during an inauspicious day and timing were highly discouraged as this will provoked the presence of the divinities and will result in affecting their personal fortunes.
Nevertheless, regardless of which day you pick to perform spring-cleaning, it is wiser to select one that is auspicious to the coming new year.

Feng Shui is an ancient art and science developed over thousands years ago in China. “Feng” means “wind” and “shui” means “water”. The complexity of its knowledge reveals the ways to balance the energies of the environment to assure health, wealth and good fortune for people inhabiting it. Feng Shui is based on the Taoist vision and understanding of nature, particularly on the idea that the land is alive and filled with energy. Therefore, the theories of energy (Qi) - yin and yang, as well as the 5 elements, are some of the basic aspects of a feng shui analysis. Feng Shui master uses the Compass, lo-pan and the Ba-Gua as the main tools in feng shui analysis. The Compass, lo-pan, is used to access deeper information about the site or the building, while Ba-Gua is used to ascertain the Feng Shui of any given environment. Feng Shui offers a variety of remedies and enhancements to improve people’s lives and rectify inauspicious situations both home and office environments. Hence, a good feng shui mean good livelihood and fortune, while a bad feng shui could mean hardship and misfortune.

Hi
Do you know the 5 elements in nature that Feng Shui refers to are wood, fire, water, earth and metal?
These 5 elements interact with each other in nature and even in your home and work areas that create harmful or harmony energy - yin and yang (passive and active energy forces).
As a result, Feng Shui is used to change the balance of energy (or chi) in your living or work environments to a more pleasing and beneficial environment. Thus a positive changes in your health, family life, marriage, wealth and even recognition.
Feng Shui had been becoming a force to be reckoned within home or house or even workplace in its architecture as well as its interior design.
